What is Fotona TightSculptingTM?
Fotona TightSculptingTM is a unique non-invasive dual-wavelength laser treatment for sculpting all areas of the body and for skin tightening. During the procedure, laser is used to break up fat cells. The fat emulsion formed from broken cells leaves the body naturally through blood and lymph. In the second stage of the procedure, the skin is tightened with the help of a laser through the activation of collagen and elastin synthesis, resulting in noticably reduced skin laxity, wrinkles, stretch marks and cellulite. The procedure is a quick, safe and effective alternative to surgical liposuction.
TigStages of the TightSculpting two-in-one procedure:
Stage 1: deep skin tightening and fat removal, using the PIANO® pulse mode
The unique Nd:YAG mode with ultra-long pulses has been developed for heating tissues painlessly, safely and quickly, directing energy underneath the skin and stimulating the metabolism of fat cells while leaving the epidermis intact. The PIANO® mode extends pulse durations to seconds, resulting in uniform heating and an overall synergy effect for fat removal, tissue tightening and cellulite reduction.
Stage 2: reduction of skin surface laxity with the SMOOTH® mode
In stage 2 we use the revolutionary non-ablative Er:YAG SMOOTH® mode, which is ideal for skin tightening. Intensive and controlled tissue heating stimulates neocollagenesis. The result is an overall improvement of skin laxity and elasticity in the treated areas. Stretch marks in treated areas also become significantly smaller or recede. In order to make the second stage less uncomfortable and painful for the client, we can apply numbing cream to the area to be treated for 15-20 minutes before the procedure, if desired.
