iPRF is a new and highly effective method that has a regenerative effect on the skin and tissues. iPRF treatment is intended for skin biostimulation to prevent the aging of skin, speed up healing of injuries and skin regeneration.

Unlike the PRP (platelet-enriched plasma) used today, the cells in iPRF (platelets, leukocytes, lymphocytes, monocytes, neutrophils and stem cells isolated from peripheral blood) are concentrated on an autologous fibrin matrix, which ensures long-term tissue regeneration.

Since iPRF accelerates tissue healing, blood circulation and regeneration, the method is primarily used for aesthetic procedures, hair growth stimulation, treatment of joints, orthopedics and dental surgery.

What could be improved with iPRF?

  • Dry, atopic skin
  • Tired and dull skin
  • Age-related changes in the skin of the face and body (decrease in firmness, loss of elasticity, wrinkles, etc.)
  • Acne scars
  • Hypertrophic scars
  • Skin damage after aesthetic treatments (laser treatment, chemical exfoliation)
  • Alopecia (hair loss)

PRF contains growth factors

Growth factors are proteins that stimulate the synthesis of collagen, elastin and fibroblasts and promote the growth (angiogenesis) and reproduction of cells and new blood vessels. Angiogenesis affects by accelerating wound healing, skin regeneration and stimulation of hair growth.

After the iPRF procedure, the first changes can be noticed in a few weeks, and the full effect appears after about 2 months.

For a more permanent effect, it is recommended to undergo a course of three sessions (with 2 to 4-week intervals).

What is the iPRF procedure?

The procedure begins with a conversation with the patient – taking the medical history and assessing a recent blood test. Then the skin is cleaned and exfoliated. Then blood approx. 15-30 ml is taken from patient's vein. The blood is processed in a centrifuge, which divides the blood into several different parts, or fractions, creating thereby a growth factor-rich iPRF. This is injected into problem areas. The injections cause some pain. The procedure is followed by a soothing and restorative mask that reduces bruising and swelling and forms a protective layer on the skin, stimulating the renewal of skin cells and accelerating and maximizing the final result.

Advantages of iPRF:

  • The treatment is completely safe and without any possible side effects, since the blood products are obtained from the person's own blood, no anticoagulants or other chemical substances are added and therefore there is no risk of allergy or infection.
  • After completing a course of the treatment, the result obtained is maintained by repeating the procedure on a need basis approximately once a year.
  • The result is permanent and predictable.
  • Perfect for use in even the most delicate areas (such as around the eyes).
  • It can also be used as a plasma filler (iPRF+), which is suitable, for example, for those who for some reason do not wish to use filler injections, preferring to restore the subcutaneous volume with their own tissues instead.
  • Perfect for the correction of dark under-eye circles.
