The botulinum toxin (also known as botox) injection procedure temporarily relaxes the mimetic muscles of the face, reducing wrinkles in order to achieve a natural, yet more youthful, relaxed and wrinkle-free look. Botulinum also makes the skin smoother and the pores smaller.
Furthermore, with botulinum toxin injections it is possible to make the face narrower by reducing the activity of the masseter muscle and highlight the chin line by relaxing the platysma muscle (the Nefertiti lift).

When will I see the effect of the botulinum toxin (botox) injection procedure and how long will the results last?
The effects of botulinum toxin begin to show in about 10 days and last for 4 to 12 months. Over time, the nerve impulse achieved by the procedure will be restored and the effect of the so-called botox injections will decrease. When the effect disappears, the botulinum treatment may be repeated.
The fields of use and dosages of the medicine used are registered in the National Register of Medicinal Products. The medicine may only be injected by medical doctors.
